This song is part of a 10-song collection commissioned by Britten Pears Arts for their ongoing Friday Afternoons series. This collection also includes works by CN Lester, Ben Parry, Roderick Williams and Ayanna Witter-Johnson.

My song is written for a single line children's chorus (aged 7-12) and piano, and explores identity using words adapted from a Year 7 class from Filey School, North Yorkshire.
