WAKE UP takes the rightful rage of youth climate activists from around the world, setting words by Greta Thunberg, Jamie Margolin, Xiye Bastida, Vic Barratt and Ridhima Pandey. It includes two electronic tracks (recordings from speeches and a march), and requires some badass body percussion!
WAKE UP was commissioned by the Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir for the 13th Golden Gate International Choral Festival, though sadly had to be performed remotely due to the pandemic.
