O Lux Beata Trinitas
For SATB
Line-up, style and pricing information
O Lux Beata Trinitas is the final work in my Compline Mass, Dusk Songs. It uses variety of textures and vocal techniques to reflect the joy expressed in the text (ascribed to St Ambrose) - from simple homophony to improvisatory techniques and free metre. The piece culminates with a short declamatory tenor solo, echoed by a solo soprano, before a peaceful extended 'Amen'.
O Lux Beata Trinitas was premiered as part of Dusk Songs by Ebor Singers at York Minster in 2005. It is published by Oxford University Press, and the rest of Dusk Songs is also available as a score in its entirety.
You can purchase the piece at various online retailers.
