A joyful, funky piece celebrating singing! Inspired by William Byrd's treatise, Reasons to Sing, this piece has an easier, repeated chorus part that could be for junior/teenage or community voices, with moderately advanced main parts (S/A/T/Bar./B). The piece could easily also be for SATB with divisi. It has body percussion that can be for all, or just the chorus part.

Commissioned by Stile Antico Foundation for the Byrd 2023 ‘Reasons to Sing’ educational project with Horizon Voices and Stile Antico and premiered at the Elgar Concert Hall, Birmingham, in November 2023.
